Because you're so obstinate, I didn't have much of a choice but to do so.

You wont have to go through so much pain if you had given up earlier but whyyyyy are you so persistent.

Gosh I think I seriously have no life now that im staying in hall.

I dont watch tv now cause im too lazy to make my way down to the lounge, and im too lazy to watch idol dramas on my lappy, so im like constantly revising the lecture notes and doing tutorials! I hope I dont go bonkers at this rate.

At least there's pingpong trng now to provide me with a channel to destress!

Anyway, I shall not forget my aim and purpose of starting from year 1 in uni and perservere!

最近经过一些事才更了解自己，

发现我其实很害怕被爱。

Just finished school of biological sciences freshmen orientation camp (SBS FOC in short)!

Well I must say it was much more fun in terms of the games that we played as compared to the orientation in poly and nyjc!

A pity there wasnt mass dance though because I think mass dance is damn cool (:

The only thing I hated about the FOC was playing games with food which is damn disgusting and gross and a waste even though the programmers said they used our leftovers. I dont see the point of playing such games.

The people there were quite easy-going but still different from those in TP. Mayb because most of them were from JC? It's like I dont know who's real and who's fake. I see a lot of fake smiles in uni and no im not stereotyping and talking rubbish.

Moving into hall this friday but only staying there from sunday onwards since there's orientation/hall camp on that week!

Meanwhile, Im trying to meet up with a lot of pple before I get busy with uni life!

Playdome at the national museum ended like last last week :( So im kinda jobless now!

It was really enjoyable working there thanks to the other facilitators around!

Hope I'll get asked back to work for other events in the museum in future!

So currently im waiting for uni life to start in NTU in august (: Anticipating it!

There's gonna be a freshman orientation camp (FOC) in another week and it's like 5 days long?! think I'll just leave halfway!

My dear dear friend JUNE whom i've known for 16/17 years is gonna leave SG for australia to study next sat :( although she will still be coming back during the hols and she will only be there for 2 and a half years, im really really going to miss her badly.

Then will be shujun's turn to leave for ireland/london.

Then it will lecky's turn to leave for aust too.

All my BFFs are leaving :( I hope we'll still keep in contact no matter what happens! God knows what my life would be like without them :( but i seriously hope they will do well there!

Boy, can't believe I'm doing this but I'm actually reviving my blog that died for a year!

There's simply too many series of events to put down in words so I'm just going to summarize everything!

I had my 5-month long student internship programme at the research lab in National Cancer Centre Singapore which was really an eye-opener and rewarding experience. I kind of anticipated myself to enjoy the programme very much since I've always liked molecular genetics and DNA but it turned out otherwise!

At the end of SIP, my conclusion was 'Research is too tiring, time-consuming and not something I will do for the rest of my life.'

And then it was back to school life again for the rest of year 3 where we were drowning with 5 problem based learning for all our 5 modules. In those days, the school library was totally our best companion. I'm wondering how I even managed to survive that whole period. Interviews, presentations, tests, table tennis competitions.

The last year in TP finally ended with the term tests.

Well I must really say, I love TP a lot. No matter how many times I grumble 'TP so lousy!' and 'TP's damn stingy!'. TP is where I really made lots of friends, grew much wiser and also a changing point! Not simply just a place where I study, but like a second home to me. There's always so much happenings around, and all of the nitty gritty stuff slowly build up my sense of belonging to the school.

I was already feeling pretty much sad about graduating and then Shannon's post on fb just made me feel so nostalgic about all the silly things we did in year 1.

Oh well. I should have gotten used to it by now right. Going to a new school, making new friends, become really close friends, and then graduating and going to a new school and the cycle just repeats itself.

So ever since school ended I've been taking up part-time jobs like the ice cream scooper at Scoopz Parkway which was pretty bad, private sales at isetan scotts, 2 weeks temp job at IRAS and now at National Museum of Singapore as a ticket checker, the slackest job ever (:

And in August this year, I'll begin my new school life in NTU biological sciences (: I'm really thankful that I managed to get into a local university even with that lousy GPA of mine, I'm serious. I hope I can really treasure this great opportunity given to me!

With one good news.

TERM TESTS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER.

For now.

I was really really looking forward to it.
I never knew that year 3 BMT life could be that bad.
Assignments every week to submit, tests one after another.
I dont even have time to take a breather.

Im tired, and im sure many of us are.

And yet,
It's really disappointing, really demoralizing that after studying and memorizing for clinical chemistry, I look at the questions in the test paper, yet nothing comes into my mind.

Seriously, it's just as if I've never studied before. I really want to help myself, I really want to do well for it, yet, everytime I stare at the questions with whole mind empty without a single drop of brain juice.

It's a helpless feeling. Halfway through cchem, I really felt like walking away, instead of panicking, sitting there and pulling my hair out over the questions. I've never felt even worse than that. I dont even know what I was writing most of the time.

I've been thinking a lot all these time;
'What exactly is my aim, my goal in life?'
'What is the reason Im living for?'
I really dont know. I dont know.

There's nothing I really wish to accomplish. I just know im living my life because of others.

I ask myself repeatedly everyday, 'Why am I studying?'
'To get good results, to get a good job'
'So why should I get a job?'
'To earn enough money to support your retirement.'

So you mean all this life, the things we are doing, the reason why we were born, why we are studying..It's all for our future retirement. It's like we're being forced to do so. I wish I was never born. I wish I didnt have to face the pressures in life. Because I dont even know what and why im doing all this.

I know by saying all this, it just goes to show that im a coward. No doubt I am.

Im not suicidal, it's just my thoughts. Im not so irresponsible and unfilial as to do stupid things.

In the end, everything revolves around only a single thing why we are on this earth for- MONEY. Well, mayb apart from the friendship and kinship.

I think I really need some motivation. Some reasons as to why I should even be on earth. Because I think Im just another burden to my parents and another useless creature who doesnt contribute anything to this world yet is fighting for that 0.00000000000000000000001 per cent of air with a few (maybe more) billion people.

Im not suicidal. Seriously.

I just went out for a gathering with my old sec classmates after having rushing all the case based studies and studying for tests for consecutively 3 days until 1am.
And plus trng on wed and fridays.

It's really tiring me out. Im seriously deprived of sleep.

This is the worse semester ever.

We have case based studies instead of tutorials and there's submissions of our assignments every week.

And because I went out for a few hours of catching up with my friends over dinner, I went home having both my parents nagging at me.

I wish I didnt have to go home that late either okay. I wish I dont have to face the computer and do all the stupid case based study. I wish I can do housework instead of all these shit.

So what? Me and my wishful thinking.

Im really tired, I dont even feel like arguing back. It was just a few hours of relieving all that stress, a few hours of having some fun and taking a break from the whole pile of assignments. And yet when I reach home, I get nagged by them.

I refused to go to Bintan with my family since it was JUST before my term tests. And they keep telling me to bring my work there to study but I know myself very well. I know I cant study in that kind of environment when everyone's having fun.
So much for all that nagging to ask me to study hard.

Just because I told them Im not going to bintan with them, they are using it to nag at me. 'You're not going bintan because you want to study for your exams right? Then why arent you studying now?'

FYI, my lessons end at 5 or 6 for most days and I reach home at only 7. By the time i reach home, Im really tired I just want to sit down and rest and watch a bit of tv.

I want to go bintan too but I cant okay. Too bad for me.

Melissa Toh? Who's that?

That was the first thing that came across my mind when I saw the group 'In Loving Memory of Melissa Toh' on facebook.
Then I heard of the news after asking around.

She was from our school, Temasek Polytechnic and was a design school student, a cheerful girl that never failed to light up her friends' lives with her beautiful smile.

Yet, she did something unexpected, something that took her away from all those that knew her.
On wednesday morning, the dreadful news of Melissa's death after jumping off from a building struck her family and friends.
As reported, it was due to relationship problems.

'Isnt she silly? Is it worth it to end her life over BGR problems?' that's what most people thought after hearing the news. Well, I am not acquainted with her, she's just a stranger, so I dont think Im in the position to comment.

It must have taken her a lot of courage to do that, to take the step out and end her life.

Despite me not knowing her, I cant explain why but I felt a tinge of grief and agony when I heard the news. And I am unable to imagine how are her parents and friends coping with her death.

Whatever torment and pain she was trying to relieve herself of by committing suicide, I certainly hope would have made her happier now, no matter where she is.

No lessons tomorrow.
But im still going down to TP anyway, gotta take care of our booth.

I seriously hope training resumes soon although that means reaching home at 10 plus and feeling damn drained of energy and lethargic. I havent been attending for 3 or 4 weeks and that's pretty long period.

I just want to train hard, and play well for all the comps before we stop training and graduate:(

I still can't believe im year 3. I can't believe im going to graduate next march or april.
I can't believe I can't be with the team anymore. I can't believe I won't get to eat mensa's dory fish many times a week.

Anyway,
we had a pretty fun lab session today.

With all the phlebotomy, venipuncture things where we had to get blood from someone and then carry out the various tests.
I was surprised at the number of girls who wanted to volunteer to have the blood taken from the vein using the syringe doctors usually use.

But Mr Poh chose Wayne instead cause his vein was more obvious on his arm! THANKS WAYNE FOR THE 3 or 4 ML OF BLOOD, WHICH WE USED FOR THE REST OF OUR TESTS.
YOUR BLOOD IS ALL OVER MY HANDS!

And I volunteered for the finger venipuncture. Mr Poh used the lancet and I didnt see how he did it but there was a vertical cut on my hand and he just kept squeezing and squeezing my finger until it looked all messy.

But we only used wayne's blood for the tests. RBC, WBC, platelets count were done by jt and shirlee, it was hard on them! Really tiring to count because there were seriously a lot of cells and you have to differentiate which is which cell.

Qi and I did the reticulocyte count but it was also pretty tiring cause there were definitely more than 100 RBC in a single field. It was until the end then we suddenly thought we could have just moved to a field with lesser RBC so it will be easier to count.

MMIC lecture with Dr Alex Lee was really interesting(: Although he's teaching methods are quite different from other lecturers. He's quite motivating actually! Wondering whether I should try microbiology for SIP but I didnt do well in Basic Microbiology in year 1. Haha.

Finding pple to go town with me tmr. But apparently there isnt anyone.

FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR.
Well it was only one hour briefing of the teaching plan, some stuff about SIP by Alvin Poh.

There will be lots of PBL, case studies and of course our Major Project and SIP.
All our modules are year long, and we wont have the two months break between sep and oct.

SIP will be from 21st June to November, 20 weeks. Sigh, IM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT. Not.

It's kinda tough to pull my GPA up now that we are doing PBL mostly! Seriously boring. Hopefully the quizzes and term tests help.

This year is gonna be tough.

Past two days have been filled with s.h.e s.h.e and s.h.e(: We went to the smrt event that s.h.e were invited to at stadium station.
The advert on the newspaper was super misleading. They said that first 100 pple will get special gifts so me and my sis went at 9 plus, the events starts at 1pm.

But in the end they only gave the first 60! And my sis and I were definitely in the first 100 but they didnt give the rest of the 40 pple.

In the end we realised the 40 other prizes had to be won when cruzteng 丁志勇 asks us questions. Most of the questions were easy, like they play s.h.e songs and ask for the title, they asked questions about smrt.

Yep, I answered one of the question about the s.h.e songs and I got another SHERO album(: Actually we raised our hands for all of the questions but he only picked me for one of the question. Didnt pick my sis.

Then S.H.E came only at 3pm, stayed a while till 3.30pm and they went to the indoor stadium to rehearse for the concert.

So my sis and I just slacked around, met up with younger sis, bought over 100 bucks of S.H.E concert merchandise (4 tee shirts, 1 lanyard). One tee is 35 bucks, lanyard is 20 bucks. And they didnt even give us a single freebie:(

Yeah then we waited for the concert to start! It was awesomeeee, atmosphere was highhh.
And this time, s.h.e didnt like sing one song by one song. It was like all the songs were linked up somehow. Most of the songs they sung had different rhythm and different beat from the original songs.

HEBE WAS REALLY PRETTY(: Hebe and selina sung a jazzy english song each and Ella sung a song she created herself. And many other really entertaining stuff.

Pretty tired after the concert, and we had to wake up at 8plus next day to go to S.H.E's autograph session. The event starts at 5pm and there were already many many many pple by the time sis and I reached at 10am. I think we went too late this time round cause we were always the front few for most of their autograph sessions. That's probably why we didnt realised there were always THIS MUCH pple.

It's over.

Im done and through with the cashiering, the hanging of clothes, swiping of cards and folding of clothes while pple unfold them.

No more having meals alone.

For these two weeks, I've been eating alone during work. I swear I look like some loner or autistic girl. No friends, no company, but I got acquainted with really nice people there.

Seriously boring and lonely.

So I guess I looked pretty gloomy and even more cool than usual and the other temp cashiers didnt really approach me until a couple of days ago. Sad right.

Never mind about all these.
For the two weeks, I was hoping to receive perhaps an sms, a call or what from a friend to talk to, to ask how well I am, at least just have a conversation with me.
I received none.

No smses for two weeks.
Awesome.

Then I realised,
I hardly smsed my friends, my besties, hardly anyone at all.
Because I always thought having face to face conversations were better, you know, like more realistic.

So much for all that crap.

Hoorayyy. Off day tmr.

Another three days of work and im gonna say bye bye to john little.
Im gonna get my revenge by buying lots of things on the last day of work and be the customer instead of cashier.

Spent the off day on sunday with qi. Went to the National museum as planned since dont know when. It was the last day of the mummy gallery and we missed it:( I've been wanting to go there since dont know when. Said that to June Lecky and shujun, said the same thing to xinrong and then to qi but in the end I didnt even get to see it.

There were lots of pple there cause just nice rides on the circle line was free and also cause it was the last day of mummy exhibit. And qi and I went at 5. So it was kinda late by that time to queue.

Had to view the other galleries then. Forgive me if the photos dont look nice cause I dont know how to use the dslr. Just experimenting!

phew.

Finally I get a day off after working for three days.

Yeah just three days of work is enough to tire a normal person.
Because I didnt get to sit down 'cept for lunch and dinner and I didnt really slack during my shift.
My legs ached after work everyday from walking around and hanging clothes that pple tried in the fitting room and from being cashier.

Gosh I realised most singaporeans are very evil. They take a whole basket of clothes and try it in the fitting room.
DONT THEY KNOW THAT THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF CLOTHES TO TRY IS 3 FOR ALMOST ALL SHOPS?!

If you're one of those singaporeans who do that, you should be ashamed of yourself.
Because you're not 'creating' jobs for pple to do, but wasting pple's energy to help you clear up your mess after that.

Some pple are worse you know. they just dump the clothes they dont want in the fitting rooms instead of taking it out and placing it on the rack for unwanted items.

So for these few days, I've been shuffling between the cashier counter and the fitting room, and the ladies department to re-hang those unwanted clothes. Super super tiring.

I think office job is better now because you get to sit down and the pay is much higher.

well, the only good thing about the john little job is that most of my colleagues are nice(: Really grateful to them for being patient with me cause I take quite long to figure the buttons on the cashiering system.
Lol, I think I had the most 'void transactions' because I kept forgetting to press the 'group discount' button before each payment or I press the wrong buttons.

And just when I thought I can sleep in today, it had to be 清明节！ I had to go to the temple early in the morning when it's just a good weather to sleep in. Luckily my shift tmr starts at 12 plus.

I just want to stay at home the whole day without doing anything now.

Anw, yesterday I accompanied yanjie to dhoby ghaut to hand in his application form for some singing audition.

We reached the harp music thing at 12 plus i think and they were closed for lunch so we went opposite to have lunch first. And while eating halfway, it started raining!

So we were like..omg how to get back there. And we went around searching for shops that sold umbrellas. Like those bigger ones that cant be kept in bags.
The shops in the so called 'shopping centre' were mostly restaurants and like offices, so we had to go over to the other linked mall and finally found the umbrella at watsons.

And good. After submitting the application form, the rain stopped-.- Waste of yanjie's money to buy the umbrella. lol

Headed down to MOF at marina square for mango kakigori(: yeah yeah yeah,

And I went for the briefing and signing of papers at John Little.

Went for work at hsbc this morn, or rather yesterday morning and made it a point to call at least 100 pple so i can get the pathetic 10 bucks for the day.

Sadly, this time no one was interested in making an appointment with our financial planner which means I dont get extra commission:(

All because of this adult tooth that is growing out (I still have a few milk tooth) and it isnt growing in the right place. Even if I extract the milk tooth that is in it's place, the adult tooth will not grow in the right position.

Much tougher than the telemarketing at acer. At least acer paid me at an hourly rate but for this hsbc thing, we were paid by the number of calls we made.

And Cat came over my house to play wii and we watched Tooth Fairy(:It's niceeeee.

This whole week was filled with fun.

So I was pretty busy going out and my mother is nagging at me alot.

Private sales at Isetan on friday wasnt as tiring like the previous times. Probably cause there wasnt much traffic flow at my counter(: But I wasnt feeling well thanks to my stomach. Same problem. There's something wrong with my digestion system.

Further adds on to my constant worrying of the results. Well results were as expected, GPA dropped by 0.01, not too bad I guess.

There's still a glimmer of hope i can improve my GPA to more than 3.5.

But i really didnt expect myself to pass retail. Even if I passed, I thought I would have gotten like C or D.

Okay so back to private sales.

After lunch, didnt feel very well cause somehow the food didnt really get digested and remained in my stomach. After a few attempts of trying to vomit, which apparently didnt work, I felt better.

And then dinner. More food in my stomach, everything gets stucked.

Felt even worse than before.

Thanks to my supervisor who was really nice and asked me to rest if i feel unwell but I didnt want to.

She made me stop work at 10 and I just walked around while waiting for the rest to end their work.

oh, I think I forgot to mention June, Leckhui, Sok Theng, Shirlee, Wara, Amanda, Marianne, Phang Ling and Xin Yi worked at private sales too. All of them except soktheng shirlee and wara had previously worked at private sales.

Grabbed a plastic bag from June on the train back home in case I puke. Thanks leck for the concern(: Took the medicine I dread most but is really effective in making me throw up. And it really did. Super gross.

You wont want to know what I throw up but it got stucked in my nose and I had to blow many many times before my respiratory tract was cleared. Ewww.

Disinfected the sink with dettol many times.

I slept to 3pm the next day-.- Around 13 or 14 hours of sleep.

And I spent the whole day today doing housework and grocery shopping.

June and I bought ourselves quite a number of things today at bugis(:
Everything seems to be on discount today!

Well, i woke up at around 1 today, I wouldnt have woke up if Hoi Shek didnt call me! Then I was still all groggy and grumpy and I remembered I was supposed to meet Hoi Shek at paya lebar to pass him the butterfly shirt I was supposed to return him quite long ago.

Sorry Hoi Shek for making you cab down! And he just told me the person who wants the shirt from him didnt meet him in the end-.- waste of his money!

And I played mario bros wii for a while before I realised i was running late to meet june at bugis at 3!

We grabbed some food and headed to bugis street!
In the end, June bought a jacket, high waist shorts and i bought skirts and shorts.
And we went to pattino at iluma and they were having discount! So we bought a pair of shoes each(:

And off we went to city hall to meet Cat, lecky, amanda and we went to marina square for dinner at Jack's Place. Shu Jun came along later.
It was really nice chatting(:
I felt really really nostalgic then.

Anyway, shujun applied for universities in australia and also in SG cause she wanted to take study medicine. Much as I want her to excel in her studies, for some selfish reason, I dont want her to go overseas cause I'll miss that dear friend. And these two years when she was in JC, we met up less than 5 times. Felt really bad we couldnt get to see her much.

Hopefully, if shujun june lecky and I get to study overseas, we can stay in the same hostel together(:

I really hope we can spend our schooldays together again:'(

Im really tired of maintaining this friendship.
Sometimes I think I feek the happiest only when im with them.
No worries, no restrictions, no bitching.

Firstly, I'll like to congratulate all my friends who did well and up to expectations for their A levels(:
Im really proud of them.
As far as I know, shujun had all As for her 4H2 which is applaudable!
Tricia had 2As for her 2 H2 and a B for the other H2 and a A for her H1
Fongzhi had AAC/A.

Im glad that all their hard work paid off(:

Nevertheless, those who didnt do well..im not really good at consoling but I've also been through such times, in fact many times, where I didnt do as well as others. I felt useless, terrible and full of guilt why I hadnt study harder in the first place.

But, what's the point of feeling full of remorse only after you get your results? I mean there's nothing you can do. You cant turn back time ( If I can, I would have done it many many times)
Well, neither am I saying that you can go fool around and have fun and dont bother about your future.

All you can do is pick yourself up from where you fell, and continue walking towards your goal.

You have no idea how much I fear for the results to be released.
I really dont understand why I never learn from my mistakes.
GPA is dropping by a lot each semester and it never increases.

I will never get into a local uni at this rate, so I was quite prepared to go overseas to get my degree. Sounds easy, but I know how heavy the financial burden will be then for my parents cause my sis is most prob going to study overseas too. Scholarship maybe will help but I dont think im eligible for it.

Perhaps my mother was right.
Mayb I should have just stuck with JC, slog my guts out, instead of worrying about what I should do after poly.
I know very well that I've really slacked alot in poly, yet I cant pick myself up.
Im like sinking deeper into a bottomless pit, and I can never get up .

Yesterday Lecky, June and I decided to go to the mandai ZOO since we were quite bored at home and we wanted to see lecky's driving skills.

Howdyy, im back(:
Exams as usual, nearly took my life.

Im utterly disappointed with my last paper, principles of retail management.

I realised, it's not that the last paper is the toughest of all, but it's because we get more complacent thinking that it's gonna be the hols right after the last paper, and our negligence results in our failure ( not that below 50 marks that kind of failure, but literally failure)

10 minutes before the paper started, my head was all blank, despite having studied everything and making sure i memorize the important stuff. I looked through the paper and thought ' im a goner this time'. Even the mcq questions were super tough. And the last structured question, i gave a absolutely incorrect answer and i actually studied that part.

I think i will really flunk retail and i mean it.

Hmm, I realised I've kinda lost contact with the world somehow.
I havent been blog hopping much, I seriously dont know what I've been doing for the past few weeks, dont even know how I spent my free time.

There's nothing that I can do there but it always distracts me and I'll keep staring at the facebook page, clicking here and there.

There's only one hour bpharm lecture tmr cause it's csas interview and mine's next week ( omg I havent bought my formal wear). Sighhh, I feel like Im wandering aimlessly.

Lol, actually i wish I can be busy like last week. At least I wont feel so guilty and slack when im free. Cause our timetable is really quite slack with lessons ending at 12 or 1 from monday to wed.
I feel more accomplished when Im busy.

Oh I've bought my new year clothes(: Dress!
Went shopping with my sisters at orchard on sunday after we got our phones.

After drinking green tea, I felt super bloated and my stomach felt weird. Same feeling I had when I was with June the other time at bugis where I ate very oily bacon wrapped sausage and milk tea.

And I had chicken rice before that. Which explains it. I think my stomach is weak, I cant really take oily stuff with TEA. So while we shopped, I had to bear with the uneasiness.

Tried to go to the toilet a few times to force myself to throw up by sticking a finger near my throat. I hate the feeling, but I know I will feel better after I throw up.

Rushed my sisters to go home earlier ( it was already 8pm) because I really felt very uneasy and my father told me to eat the medicine I hated most since I was young. It's this brown colour powder in a small capsule for relieving diarrhoea and a lot other clinical uses.

And the effect was INSTANT. 1 minutes or mayb less than that after I consumed the powder, I chionged to the toilet and was finally relieved.

The puke is super gross I tell you. Chicken and some more like it's still one big piece ( I think I dont really chew food). And can you imagine puke coming out from your nose? Damn damn disgusting but i cant help it. Something's wrong with my gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract seriously.
Omg I cant believe chicken and rice actually came out from my nose from my stomach. AHHHH.
I bet you dont even feel like eating chicken rice or talk to me from now onwards.

I realised I actually vomit quite a lot? For a normal person. Weak stomach.
I AM SERIOUSLY NOT ANOREXIC because I dont force myself to vomit after each meal.

Changed my phone on sunday and I didnt really have any idea what phone to settle for.

Blackberry's nice, but kinda pricey and I dont need to use such an expensive phone.
Sony Ericsson, kinda sian of it. Too many pple having SE.
Samsung; dont really like it.

Then I saw the flyer for this new phone just released i think few days before or on that day?

First thing that came into my mind- omg not good.

But then I tried it out, asked the singtel personnel stuff and chose it instead of HTC TOUCH PRO 2.

Yeah, so what's so good about this phone?

Well basically I think it's kinda like iphone? You get to download applications and stuff, surf the net. And there's this application called Motorblur, which enables you to update all your status to twitter facebook and my space at once from the homescreen.

Ifthe phone goes missing, you can track it down from the motorblur site .And plus plus you can use it either by touch screen or the qwert keypad.

Haha, actually i love this phone alot.

But today, I wanted jingting to send my photos by bluetooth and I realised it cant work-.- Shirlee was saying because its motorBLUR and its BLUR like me, suited for me.

Levon and Jt were fiddling with my phone for very long before they gave up. LOL.

But I just downloaded this application that allows bluetooth transfer so I assume it can send things via bluetooth now.

Woah, this week sure was hectic. and I mean seriously hectic.
The most tiring week I've ever had in two years in my poly life.

There were two presentations to prepare for, two tests to study, and competitions almost every day except thurs and friday.

I've never been so eager for the end of the week to come, seriously.

Yeah, so I hereby declare that I've SURVIVED THIS WEEK! Hooray.

But next week is still gonna be busy, although there isnt any trngs now.
There's bpharm tut quiz on monday, which we all dread most, Mbio report to chiong, DDCT lecture quiz!

DDCT can easily be the most boring subject of the universe.
It's all dry and dead like telling us about the 'what you should do and what you should not do during clinical trials'.

DDCT stands for Drug Development and Clinical Trials where you learn what are the rules and requirements during the creation of a drug. It's really a troublesome process. Hopefully I wont be involved in drug development in future.

Example, okay I need to flip my notes because I didnt bother touching them after lectures because they bore me.

Principles of GCP ( Good Clinical Practice) are as such:
1.Ensure that ethical principles are observed
2. Antipated benefits should justify the risk
3. Trial subjects care over interests of science ad society.

etc etc.

And the info is very similar in all the topics. ALL TO DO WITH ENSURING AND SAFEGUARDING THE RIGHTS OF THE SUBJECTS! Okay we all get that point.

If there was a nobel prize for the most boring subject, DDCT will definitely be nominated!

I just finished bpharm past year questions for monday's tut(: yeah, means lesser work over the weekend.

IVP is finally over.
Actually it was quite fast. Around 3 weeks?
Hmm.

It was very disappointing that we couldnt get in Top 3 for IVP. Due to the bad line up, we lost to SIM. If only coach put Liuying as first singles as always, we could have won.

So we lost the first two singles and doubles, and since SIM already had 3 points, there was no need to play the remaining two singles since it's already obvious they won.
Liuying and I didnt play cause we were the last two singles.

In case you dont know, the last time TP got into top 3 was like more than 3 years back. It's not an easy task.

Both liuying and I were very demoralized and all, and I still unhappy when I got home.
Sigh, better luck next time then.

Im just glad that we did a super job when we played with NUS, although we lost with a score of 3:2. Liuying's match was super super zai.

Everyone put in a lot of effort, this week was a super hectic schedule for all of us yet we didnt really lament. Thanks team!

Okay now, the good thing is that we got into SEMI FINALS(: HOORAY.
We won NP 4:1.

Good job team!

But the bad thing is the semi finals is like tmr and wed and which means I wont be able to reach home early for these two days which means I dont have much time to study for my tests.
Anyway, I dont think im gonna postpone my tests so I'll just make use of what little time i have to study for both mbio and bpharm and csas.

I seriously hate this week.

I dread the Mbio report and the deadline is just next friday.

I just came back from Mount Everest.

Okay anyway, I was busy with open house, competition, homework and housework.

I SERIOUSLY HATE DUST AND ALL THE MICROPARTICLES although I know there are here for a purpose and the entire ecosystem thing will change if they just disappear.

I hope mummy does a cleaner job when she eats pistachos next time because I just cleaned the floor that day and I have no idea how she eats pistachos because the entire floor was full of the little bits of them.

Im glad I just got over bpharm tut today because it was quite frightening with Miss Hor pressing each and everyone of us so hard to answer one question and it was like we could just die of nervousness.

Even Jac was so flustered that she kept saying 'the adrenergic acts on the adrenergic receptors' instead of saying ' the drug salbutamol acts on the adrenergic receptor'.

Hmm, competition against NTU today, quite disappointing because I thought we had the chance to win them. But LIUYING really did a super awesome fantastic job, she lost two matches at first, and managed to fight back and win the opponent 3:2(:

Really proud of her. In the end we lost NTU 4:1. At least not that bad(:

Next match against SMU! XINJIN omg. I hope I play with her actually, although I know she's really good.

I realised I have yet to state my NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS.
I went back to my archives and realised I didnt write down my new year resolutions for 2009.

1. Get a higher GPA better than my current one ( Which is quite impossible now thanks to term tests)
2.Have more money
3. Handle my money more wisely.
4.Stop getting hooked on L4D.
5. Really really study hard to get A for Molecular Biology.
6. Stop procrastinating.

A new year,
And it marks a new beginning from here.

I must say I've really learnt a lot this year, hopefully I've grown wiser from all these lessons.
This year was tough, it sure was.
But if not for 2009, I wouldnt have met many people, who turn out to be my good friends now.
I am really really grateful for what I've been given.

I've learnt when to let go, instead of hogging things that will never belong with me.
I've learnt to see things from different perspectives, instead of just from my point of view.
I've learnt to be less sensitive, to be more matured in my thinking, instead of acting foolishly.

Its quite hard to put all the thoughts running through my mind in words...I think I'll try it in chinese.

HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY SHUJUN! Or rather happy belated.
Well, 1 hour plus ago, it was our dearly missed clique member's birthday!
Here's a note for her.

I can still remember how we used to quarrel and squabble over silly stuff but we didnt meant any harm all the time. No hard feelings after each argument.
But after O levels, when we got into different schools, I believe we became more matured in our thinking, and we have learnt to cherish the little time whenever we get together.

We have drifted apart indeed, but even so, we tried to meet up whenever we can, although you were quite restricted from doing alot of stuff.

Really hope you had fun yesterday, although it was rather simple and the sun was scorching.

Met up with Jingting and gave her the three cakes from saycheeze because shirlee said she loved it a lot but couldnt bear to spend her money on it. Think she got sick of cheezecakes after that.

And we headed down to ECP.

Halfway walking there we got caught in the rain!

Then all of us except qi and sok theng went to bowl.

JT bowling. She looks like a ballerina when she bowls.

LOL, super lousy scores.

And we went to macs!

We thought for quite some time before we decided to rent bikes and cycle all the way to the hawker centre at lagoon.

Yeah and we got quite angry with all the shopkeepers like scolding us about our bikes obstructing other pple's way but there wasnt anywhere we could place them.They said we'll get fined for anyhow parking the bikes-.- when they should have gotten fined many many times for touting.

Anyway,

I LOVE THE COCONUT DRINK and the hokkien mee was quite nice.

Cycled to the bedok jetty after dinner.

Emo kids.

Chionged back to the bike rental shop and we played with sparklers! I think we were all quite high, blasting the mass dance song and dancing to the music! Passerbys stared at us like we were weirdos.

Headed back to PP and bus-ed home after that!

I just played L4d with wayne cliff and levon. SUPER FUN to play with friends rather than play alone! Sorry for wayne cause he didnt manage to get up the rescue plane with us.

Unfortunately, he got obstructed by the TANK. There were 3 of them in last stage. Almost killed us.

Well, I conclude that this is my sis's lucky month.
After facial at kose isetan scotts today, she randomly decided to go to ion orchard to look for wallets and we walked the jewellery street of ion orchard and there wasnt much people there.

And my sis was like shrieking 'Eh wu zun leh!' excitedly.
It was really wu zun! (In case you have no idea who is he, he's from the taiwanese boy band Farenheit)

So my sis went up to him and called 'Wu Zun.'
He turned around with a surprised look.
'可以跟你拍张照吗?' my sis asked.
'哦，可以啊！’he replied with a warm smile.

There, here's the picture he took with my sis!

And he asked us where we were going and whether we are singaporeans. We then shook hands and left happily, still wondering whether what just happened was only a dream or reality.

After walking a few metres away from him, I exclaimed 'I want to take a picture with wu zun too!' And we went back and I took a photo with him.

Arrr, hate my fringe.

My sis still have yet to recover from the euphoria. Well, it's HER IDOL and she got to take a picture with him which is super lucky!

IM BACK AFTER GOD KNOWS HOW MANY GAZILLION YEARS(:

Term tests this time was rather disappointing.
Thanks to Molecular Biology.

For the first time in my life in poly, I stepped out of the lecture theatre after submitting the paper, feeling rather uneasy because I didnt know how to do one particular question and I thought, it's okay..I still have other answers for other questions to help me.

And then all of us were out of the lt, discussing the answers frantically
That's when I got to know my answer for question 2b) was instead supposed to be for question 2c) because the questions were quite similar.

My heart totally sank.

And for once after stepping out of the lt, all that was running through my mind was 'Im a goner man.' and it kept repeating in my head on the way back home.

Can I even pass the paper?!

But I still continued studying for retail despite all the negative thoughts.
And yet,

another disappointment again.

well, as much as I want to avoid receiving my results, I still have to face the music.

Is it me getting stupid-er by the day or is it the papers getting more tough, i wonder.

Im just glad bpharm and ddct werent too difficult.

anyway, here's updates for the past week and just now.

Met up with cat last week to introduce to her mensa's dory fish.
Im like doing free advertising for them! So far i've brought tricia, cat, xinrong, xinjin to eat the marvellous dory fish.

And last sunday, lecky and I made our way down to our very very long time never see senior Weiting's 21st birthday party.

I officially proclaim that I DISLIKE RETAIL very much.
It bores me to tears every minute of the lecture and the two hours lecture seems like it's 4 hours for me. I dont even bother reading the notes again after lectures.

But I love the tutorial cause the teacher is good and she makes lessons more interesting.

I dont like it when people judge me when they dont even know me.

'You look very dao you know' Fine, not the first time Im getting all these comments.

I know I have a very stupid look but at least I know im not one of those people who have plastered smiles all over their face everytime they see you but they actually backstab you, talk bad about you and do alot of stupid things.

What's the point of befriending someone like the above? Yeah I know they look more approachable but you think they are really like that? Think twice people.

And for your info, my face has always been like that since young. And actually I have to stretch more face muscles to achieve the 'normal' face as compared to others and the DAO face is my RELAXED state.

Blame my face.

So please, next time go ask around or at least approach me before you give shallow comments. You wont know if you dont ask.

Hello.

Iguides camp yesterday was fun((:

Hmm, let's say..this is the first time I have so many water games in a day.

ALL THE GAMES were 'watery'.

We never fail to be DRIPPING WET after leaving each game station and there were EIGHT stations fyi.

At the end of the day, we had

stinking waterlogged shoes, sweat+water smelly ttm tee shirt and shorts, unkempt hair,

but we had FUN FUN AND MORE FUN in return(: Feels great especially when we are in the midst of all those tests and assignments.

Anyway I left yesterday although camp was only breaking today cause I had to finish up DDCT ppt slides and some other stuff.

DDCT group went back to school today to rehearse and tie up some loose ends.

And I dropped by at the sports hall to look at the mass dance by the iguides camp.

First up, Interview 2 for DDCT(:
Im glad it went well, Miss Shahedah seemed satisfied with our group.
Yep, and I would like to thank all my group members cause I can see every one of us contributed, although we only met up to discuss twice.

Thanks jac for staying up at night just to get our notes and stuff compiled(:

And friday,
most awaited event- Campus Care Network Day (CCN day).
We didnt get to walk around because all our lecturers were very mean, they didnt bother about the fact that we should get half day off on ccn day

However, it felt really warm to see the whole school filled with excitement and energy. It sure was rowdy and messy but i still liked it(:

My parents and younger sis took off to New Zealand for a vacation. They wont be coming back until 10 days later. And it's just me and big sis alone at home.

Qi was nice to remind me I should go chase after aunty if I wanted to walk home with her after Bpharm lec with her.
So I really went around finding her, What I really had in mind was to walk to the bus stop like we used to, even though it was just a short 10 minutes walk.

Yet once again, I was disappointed.
For a while, I was really ecstatic when I thought I could finally walk with her.
'My mother's fetching me.' she said.

And all my hopes just dropped within a second.

Nevertheless, I offered to accompany aunty to wait for her mother. Just to talk to her, even if it was just a short 5 minutes talk.

I only left when I saw her getting into the car.

And when I started walking to the bus stop, millions of signals and thoughts just went through my head.

Im trying really hard.

Do you even see and understand why im doing all this?

Why is it so tedious and difficult now to spend a little time with you when it was such an everyday thing in the past?

Yet, I cant give up. Not yet.

I'm glad im almost done with the cover letter and resume(:
I still have bpharm tut.

Trying to chiong all my homework so i have more time to sleep. I havent been sleeping alot every since school started cause all my lessons start at 9AM. NO FAIR

Hmm, these two days, a few of us namely, wayne, qiyun, shirlee, cliff, jac and I have been attending this elicting emotions thing where you have to watch video clips and do a whole long list of survey about your emotions.
And we watched 42 clips in total, omg.

7 clips for each emotion mainly, Happy, sad, angry, digust, surprise, fear.

The disgust one totally freaked me out. Some of the clips were that kind of eat disgusting things which made it really gross but not as bad as the GORY ones.

I really hate GORY FILMS ever since I watched FINAL DESTINATION 3 few years back.
And I enjoyed the horror films more than the gory ones, although I hate horror movies too. I think i prefer horror more if i were to choose between gory and horror.

I almost cried and puke because of the gruesome sight but I tried not to. And i forced myself to watch although i did turn away a few times.

Anyway, wondering why we wanted to go for these two days thing sitting there for few hours as if we've got nothing better to do?

BECAUSE THERE'S A REMUNERATION OF 50 BUCKS.
Easy money. But it was quite boring circling the same surveys for around 8 times.

Havent really been updating, im just plain lazy and there's alot of things to do.

Last sat went hdb hub to play pool(: The kids were super noisy as usual. zzz. That's why i havent been playing pool for very long since they were around.

They insisted on playing although they didnt know how to.

I wanna play pool again. I hope i get my personal pool stick or whatever you call it someday(:

And on tues, it was WAYNE'S BIRTHDAY!

Shinta also bought a cake for CASS's birthday which falls on the next day but I couldnt make it since I celebrated for wayne with the others.

Before going orchard, we met up with shuhan and passed her the belated birthday gift.

And we waited at cine before cliff went to bring wayne to us and we got the cake ready.

Next was Kbox! We got cheated .zzz. It was supposed to be a 7 bucks package but they charged us 14 bucks due to the service charge, the tidbits bowl blabla.

Still very fun though(:

In the blink of an eye,

it's almost nearing the end of first week of school(:

Well I didnt really suffer much from 'back-to-school blues', in fact I was rather happy to start school again and put an end to my totally NO LIFE days. I should have just gotten a job.

Drug Development and Clinical Trials, DDCT in short, is so far the most dreaded subject cause it's PBL meaning problem based learning which is no fun at all.

The FILA chart and all. Luckily we just have one PBL module.
June was lamenting about PST pple having to do like 3 PBL modules. Aw well, it'll be our turn to get ourselves real busy in sem 3.2.

I hope Molecular Biology will be fun(: I realised im better at those molecular genetics, cell biology and biochemistry stuff related to DNA although I find it boring.

Mayb I should consider majoring in a course related to genetics in uni.

CSAS4 today set me thinking about the jobs I want to take up in future.
Looking at all those job ads, it really looks very tough because you have to get lots of experience and just a diploma in biomedical science will get you nowhere. You'll just find yourself washing test tubes in labs.

And those responsibilities in the different job scopes, gosh i know nothing about them. Looks like there's really a lot to learn. And that's what I dread most- being in a new environment and having to start from bottom, learn lots of things.

Sure, I can slowly adapt..but what if I was forced to change to another job? And then I'll have to start all over again.

Can I not grow up please?

On a lighter note, I just signed myself up, along with Levon, JT and Shirlee for the iguides thing.

Well, the team chalet didnt exactly go according to plan very well since there was no plan in the first place.

We went to zone x after checking in.

Attendance was rather saddening and pathetic,
but there were the usual HIGH pple that didnt make the atmosphere that tense(:

For the first time in my life, I had hotpot in a chalet with no scallops, no quail eggs, no abalone BUT IT WAS STILL AN AWESOME HOTPOT ever.

We played blind mice and hedbanz(they had another name for it i cant remember what)
and they really killed a lot of time and produced lots of laughter(:

I've been a good girl, I didnt succumb to buying my lime breezer although it a temptation as it was on offer.
But I was still damn high anyway(:

Post deleted. I know I was rash but it was because I knew the 'wuzun' was someone i knew so i didnt bother about what the consequences will be if i put my hp number up here.

Blinded by anger, i suppose.

Alright anyway, so this morning we went to RECEIVE our honourable guests from cambodia.
Syai was sitting beside me for 5 minutes but I totally DIDNT know cause i was half asleep and i didnt bother looking around me.

I only found out it was him when we reach tanah merah and he suddenly popped out beside me.

Syai and I went to the food court in T1 and waited for wayne while I ate my 5.80bucks prawn noodles. and best, i didnt get to finish it cause we were rushing as we thought the ocp pple's plane had landed.

In the end, we still had to wait more than 30 mins! I could have finished my 5.80 prawn noodles.

But never mind about the prawn noodles. Our main point was to see levon, shirlee, jingting, shu han, cliff and others.

First one to get out of the departure hall. Shinta! Couldnt recognize her initially.

And qi missed me so much she attacked the cam. HAHA.

I just finished watching Princess Mononoke dvd which I borrowed from TP library(:
Niceeee but very long and quite confusing.

The long awaited outing with my cousin Karen and Liuying was finally fufilled today.
Just happened that Karen was the classmate of Liuying back in TPJC.

Really glad to know karen's did well for her 'A's and managed to get into NUS social sciences course, although that wasnt her original plan of enrolling in the Business course.

I realised I kinda lost interest in cartoons like that. Everything's turning 3d.

And we just walked around before liuying headed for school first to print some things and I stayed with karen, saw her bf.

Went off to wait for sylvia and we left for trng.
Rushed off to century square, ate my fav SOUP RESTAURANT yumyum in just 10 minutes. I just gorged everything down cause we were going to fetch my sis and her flight was at 9.35pm.

In the end when we reached the airport, it was 9.58 and the plane just landed-.- I just risked getting gastricitis (idk).

Shall update about what i've been doing these few days soon.

For some reason, actually no reason at all, we went to the MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL thing held in TP yesterday.

Hmm if June was still in CO, we could have seen her performing on stage:(
But it was just a small stage with a few CO pple playing the instruments.

HAHA TODAY WAS A FUN FILLED DAY, damn tiring but still very fun(:
Hung out with the usual G4 peeps that even bother to go for class outings.

Anyway, we met at kallang and took shuttle bus to leisure park. I thought the meeting time was 12pm and i was an hour early.

Guess who? Voted most decently dressed in our group today.

Still cant figure out? She's very tall.

These few days have been quite packed.

And I was kinda lazy to blog.
Supper after trng on friday was at 85 instead of our usual hangout opposite school.

And the food was very very nice((:
Got to eat sambal stingray but I couldnt really take spicy stuff and i had to drink lots of water.

It was 11 plus by the time we finished eating and I took the last bus home(:

Hoi Shek HAD to, of all times, remind me to be careful cause it was the last day of seventh month and I was like quite flustered while walking the dark streets of the lorongs in geylang back home

Hmm, and yesterday was spent with my dear dear yellow and yanjie.
We accompanied yanjie to some music school in dhoby ghaut for his singing audition.
Hope he will make it through the auds(: Which im pretty sure he will.

Then we went down to suntec for lunch, at pepper lunch and we went to MOF for dessert.
Shared my fav mango kagori( cant remember what it's called) with yellow and damn, it was heavenly:D

I thought I was in heaven for a few seconds. HAHAHA.

And we just walked around a while at the food fair and after not long we decided to get out cause the ventilation wasnt really good and we smelled like ITAS! haha.

And headed to Uncle Pin Gek's house after that, got angry over my dad screaming in the phone at pizza hut cause they were 2 hours late in delivering pizza.

I thought there was no need to shout at the staff although they were in the wrong cause I understand how it feels to be scolded by the customer thanks to the telemarketer jobs.

So we just cancelled the order and went opposite tjc as usual. Played with the kids ( my younger sis, jie qi and jie xi) and it was really funny.

And today had bak kut teh at opposite central with family and we went suntec, bought clothes from MANGO!
Went back home, dinner with relative's at some chicken rice restaurant near bugis.

That's about all i guess.

I HAVE TO KEEP REMINDING MYSELF THERE'S NO TRNG TMR! I keep forgetting tmr's a public holiday.
